Rex’s Rendezvous hosted its 30th annual poker run Sunday. More than 50 motorcycles were on hand for the event which raised $1,500 for Kosciusko County Hospice. The event has raised between $1,500 and $200 since its inception. The riders traveled around Tippecanoe, Wawasee and Dewart lakes this year. A hog roast following the ride was prepared by the Holtz family. Fred Holtz Sr., a longtime supporter of the ride, died in 2011 after being stricken with cancer. He was a patient of hospice and the ride was held in his memory. Holtz’s son, Fred Holtz Jr. and his sons prepared the hog roast this year.
