    The Warsaw Reading Club met recently at the home of Sue McGuire with Lynn Williams as co-hostess.

After the recitation of the club collect, roll call and minutes of the last meeting were given. Dorothy Poor reviewed a book titled "On the Occasion of My Last Afternoon" by Kay Gibbons.

November 20 1984

    The Warsaw Squares recently held their regular dance. This was a very good dance with six visiting couples. The dance was called by the regular caller, Chick Hani.

Visiting callers, Lamar and Sandy Newman, each called a tip. The door prize and the club's traveling banner were claimed by the Elkhart club. The rounds were cued by Janiece Davis.

November 20 1959

    Miss Edna Olson, art teacher at Warsaw Junior High School, received high honors at the first annual ceramics show for Indiana artists held recently at DePauw University. Miss Olson recently completed her master's degree in fine arts at the University of Wisconsin. She has been head of the art department at the junior high school for the past seven years.

November 20 1934

    Dan Perry, former Warsaw High School football and basketball star, will be in the Ball State Teachers' college starting lineup against Hanover college Saturday afternoon. Perry is a potential candidate for guard on many sports writers' all-state selections.
