Tim Whiteman, a 1993 graduate of Wawasee High School, recently completed a very successful summer on the Indiana Golf Association's PGA Junior Golf Tour.
Navy Aviation Structural Mechanic Third Class Robert R. Barr, son of Frank D. and Margaret A. Barr, Warsaw, has been promoted to his present rank while serving with Helicopter Antisubmarine Squadron Light 31, at the North Island Naval Air Station, San Diego.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Harmon, of South Buffalo Street, have returned from a two-week fishing trip to Twin Lakes Camp north of Cadillac, Mich. They report that they had good luck in catching bluegills.
The congregation of the Brethren Church met Tuesday evening for the purpose of electing church officers, which resulted as follows: Albert Hartman, moderator; Allen Ohmart, clerk; D.H. Lytle, treasurer; Fred Mathews, chairman of finance committee, all re-elected. New trustees were elected: Howard Hile, Harry Helser and Fred Lloyd. May Bell Crist was re-elected pianist.
