BOURBON - A special day is being planned by members of Bourbon's First United Church of Christ for Sept. 23 - the 150th anniversary of the church's founding.
Bonnie Radcliff, Syracuse, has begun a one-year term of Voluntary Service with Mennonite Board of Missions, Elkhart. She attends Dutchtown Brethren Church, Warsaw. Her parents are Rev. and Mrs. Jerald Radcliff.
Mary Scholl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Scholl, of West Market Street, has recently completed the Nurses' Training Course at the Michael Reese Hospital, Chicago, Ill. Scholl is spending the month of September with her parents. She will return to the hospital, where she will be a member of the obstetrical staff.
Appointment of Forrest Smith and H.S. Smith, Warsaw, as crop observers in Kosciusko County for the Sears-Roebuck, Agricultural Foundation Index, is announced from Chicago by P.V. Ewing, director of research for the Foundation and editor of the Index. They will form a link in the nation-wide chain of county agricultural observers elected because of their first-hand knowledge of farming conditions and their ability to observe these.
