    Cliff and Mona Pifer, of Claypool, are the winners of a grandfather clock which was given away from Reinholt's Town Square Furniture store in celebration of Reinholt's anniversary sale.

    A pair of women bowling in the Tuesday Night League at Gilliam Lanes last week rolled 600 series. Barbara Drudge registered a 605 and Donna Kinch a 601.

September 27 1954

    Lawrence Stieglitz, of Milford, and Jack L. Spearman, of Pierceton, are among the 156 students who have entered the school of medicine at Indiana University.

The class, consisting of 151 residents of Indiana, three from Hawaii, one from Florida and one from New York, is larger by six pupils than previous classes that had given the school fifth national ranking in admissions.

September 27 1929

    A demonstration at the fair causing considerable interest is that now being shown at the Harry Oram & Son's Dodge agency at Center and Lake streets.

A large Dodge New Six, model 1929, is turned on its side in the Oram show windows and all parts of the engine and machinery used in running the car is made visible. A small electric motor runs this new six and the fair visitors see this magnificent machine in operation in the same way as if it were speeding on the highway.
