    Barbara Hyden has been appointed as representative for McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel's Care Concepts program.

Care Concepts focuses on the benefits of funeral preplanning. Barbara resides in Leesburg with her husband, Bill, and four children.

September 25 1976

    Two men were the winners of the Gambles Store promotion in which the contestants had to come closest to guessing the correct weight of "Arnold the Pig." Winners were Rex Hoyer and John Hawkins, both of Pierceton. The forecasts by the men were 113 and 114 pounds, and the correct weight was 113-1/2 pounds, so each won half of the frozen pig.

    Donna Frauhiger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Frauhiger, Warsaw, has been chosen to serve as one of the "senior sisters" who will welcome Western Michigan College women students when they enroll next week at Kalamazoo and will assist them in every possible way during freshman days.

    John Switzer, the original Warsaw fair "hamburger man" as usual, was first with hamburgers this year. John was shoving them over the counter at a rapid rate soon after 6 o'clock Monday morning and he still had the business to himself at 4 o'clock in the afternoon.
