    The Warsaw Community High School was dedicated Sept. 18 on a wave of pride and great expectations.

As keynote speaker, Warsaw Mayor Jeff Plank welcomed the new $30 million structure on Ind. 15S as an asset to the community.

September 25 1975

    Not one to overlook the effectiveness of women's participation in election campaigns, Mayor Paul E. (Mike) Hodges announced the appointment of 34-year-old Suzanne Ware as his campaign coordinator.

Currently Ware is third vice president and legislative chairman of the Kosciusko County Republican Women's Club.

September 25 1950

    Approximately 15,000 persons visited the Warsaw city park this season, according to Mr. and Mrs. Chad Chapman, who have been custodians of the park for 18 years. During that time, they pointed out, people from every state in the Union and from South America and Canada have visited the park.

Thirty-two years ago, 1918, the plot of ground, triangular in shape and lying between Buffalo and Canal streets, was bought by the city from Charles Rigdon, then mayor of Warsaw.

    Helen Van Curen has been pledged into the Chi Omega sorority, and Thelma Walton has been pledged into the Delta Delta Delta sorority at Indiana University, where they have entered their freshman year.
