    Wayne Hendrix, executive director of Wabash County Hospital, has been chosen to replace retiring Kosciusko Community Hospital President Milton Holmgrain, Wabash Hospital officials announces Friday.

Hendrix will assume his duties in Warsaw effective Jan. 1, 1989. Hendrix was selected from a field of "well over 100 candidates," KCH board chairman Kevin Zachary said.

    Navy Ensign Shirley Allen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas J. Allen, Rt. 3, Syracuse, is serving with the Joint Casualty Resolution Center at the Kakhon Phanom Thai Royal Air Force Base, Thailand.

Personnel of this joint service organization are attempting to resolve the status of nearly 2,400 U.S. servicemen listed as missing in action in Southeast Asia. She joined the Navy in March 1973.
