Times-Union advertising representative Bill Hayes recently received two awards in a statewide "Advertising Ideas" contest.

Mrs. Cash (Lulu) Rovenstine, Atwood, who has been an active Republican worker for many years and a Republican precinct committee woman for the Second precinct of Prairie township since the advent of woman suffrage, will receive a reward for her long service on Monday. She has been selected to be one of a group of local republican leaders, who will board the Eisenhower special train at Fort Wayne and accompany Gen. Eisenhower and Mrs. Eisenhower and the official party into Warsaw.
The McDonald Musical Club met at the Conservatory of Music Friday night and reorganized for the winter months. The following officers were elected: Helen Sawdon, president; DeVere Brant, secretary; Wendell Anderson, treasurer.
