    A team of players from the Baker Boys Club was crowned champions in the 3-on-3 Round Ball Classic Tournament played in Plymouth during the recent Blueberry Festival. The team went 5-0 to win the 9- to 10-year-old age group. Team members are Brian Johnson, Trent Martin, William Knepper and Jerad Shaw.

    Richard Glover, president of Glover Furniture in Warsaw, presented a grandfather clock to Donna Trowbridge, Warsaw. Trowbridge won the clock during the Glover anniversary sale. Mary Lou Smith, Warsaw, received a lounge chair and ottoman, and Charles Yates, Claypool, won the third prize, a lamp.

    The stork seemed to like the hot weather of August. The average number of births a month in Kosciusko County is about 40, but during August there were 66 births in our county.

September 15 1928

    Warsaw Rotarians today noon welcomed J.W. Eckhart of the Biltwell Basket Factory, of Warsaw, into membership. He was instructed, introduced and welcomed by J. Wilbur Maish. Homer Smith gave a most interesting report of his recent trip to California. He illustrated his talk with photographs taken by himself.
