    William Brenneman of Warsaw Freshman High School was among the 25 outstanding biology teachers selected to participate in a National Science Foundation Honors Workshop this summer at the University of Michigan Biological Station located near Pellston, Mich.

    Rozella Ford Golf Course Women's 18-hole association recently awarded honors to its top golfers. Included in the group were Midge Konkle, Jean Rickel, Sally Eschbach, Lottie Zimmer, Bess Becker and Bede Weirick.

    Charlie Lamoree, editor of the Silver Lake Record, announcing that this would be vacation week for the paper, did not commit himself on his plans. "The editor may go fishing or he may take his vacation in the hammock in the backyard," he wrote.

Sept. 20 1922

    Charles Sigler, master mechanic of the Winona Interurban Railway Company, who is this week taking his annual vacation, has been in the employ of the Winona Interurban Railway for the past 20 years. In talking to a representative of the Times he referred to the fact that Lewis Adams, formerly of Claypool and Packerton, had been employed in the paint department for the past 18 years and is the oldest man directly under his supervision in point of service.
