    With the official end of summer nearing, the Warsaw Business Association is gearing up for the fall season, by sponsoring Warsaw's annual Fall Fest. In addition to the scheduled entertainment, craft and food booths will be set up on the courthouse lawn.

Sept. 12 1972

    Warsaw Patrolman Doug Brumfield sat atop the new Harley Davidson 350 motorcycle to be used for patrol in Warsaw. The motorcycle, an important part of traffic control in the city, replaces a similar motorcycle owned by the department that served its useful life.

    Warsaw Gas Company placed the following announcement: Gas patrons are requested not to use gas ovens Saturday for any purpose. Don't plan the usual Saturday baking. The gas will not be shut off but the usual pressure will not be given except at meal hours. The coal we have hasn't but very little gas in it. We are doing the best we possibly can with it. Please co-operate.
