    Joshua Smithson and Jeannie Best were chosen as king and queen at the recent Tippecanoe Valley High School homecoming ceremonies. Smithson is the son of Tom and Lee Smithson; Best is the daughter of Tom and Deborah Hobart, Warsaw.

    Bobbie McNutt, formerly Bobbie Crafton of Syracuse, has been promoted to SP5 while stationed in Germany. Parents are Mr. and Mrs. Hepler. Bobbie will return to state-side duty in January. She is assigned to the U.S. Army 94th Engineer Battalion at Darmstadt, Germany.

    Robert A. Lemler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lemler, Bourbon, is a member of the famous Purdue University Glee Club. He sings tenor. A junior in agriculture, this is his third year with the male singing group. He is also a member of the university choir, the inter-fraternity council and is managing editor of Purdue Agriculturist magazine.
