The new acting assistant principal for student affairs at Warsaw Community High School is Dennis L. Duncan, Rt. 9, Warsaw, a graduate of Grace College and Indiana University, with bachelor's and master's degrees.
Two members of the Kosciusko County Heart Association were in Indianapolis recently for the 25th anniversary meeting and were awarded gold medallions. Steve Parsons, public education chairman, was unable to attend the meeting. Mrs. Wendell Sadler, memorial gifts chairman, and Mrs. Leo Cusick, the general campaign chairman for the past two years, were exuberant as they told Parsons about the meeting and presented him with his gold medallion.
In an "Outstanding Carrier" contest sponsored during the summer months by the Inland Daily Press Association, six Warsaw Times carriers captured top awards. Max Truex, first place; Richard Shaffer, second place; Larry Pinkerton, third place; Kenny Schaff, fourth place; Larry Mulcahy, fifth place; and Danny Lowman, sixth place.
The Winona Interurban Company was today removing their railway tracks in the town of Leesburg, moving them about 4 feet, and partially eliminating the curve through the town from the cattle yards to the north town limits.
