    The 1996 Triton fall homecoming king, Chris Monesmith, was announced along with two queens. Tying for queen honors were Amy Petersen and Patricia Yarian. Amy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Petersen, Etna Green; Patricia is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Yarian and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Wilson, all of Etna Green; and Chris is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harv Monesmith, Bourbon.

October 7 1981

    Tippecanoe Valley senior choral student Kathleen King has been accepted as a member of the 1981 Indiana All State Choir. As a member of the 200-voice choir she will be involved in a performance in Indianapolis on Oct. 30 for the Indiana Choral Directors Association.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell King, Mentone.

    Atwood and Milford placed first and second in the 4-H and Future Farmers of American county land judging contest.

Don Wray, Bob Creighton and Tim McKibbin composed the Atwood team with Tom Smith as alternate. Milford contestants were Norman Miller, Steve Haab and Wayne Scholtey with Terry Hollar, alternate.
