    Kerry M. Price, Bourbon, a 1971 graduate of Manchester College, recently joined the staff of Warsaw First National Bank, and was assigned to the Milford branch, where he will be assistant manager to Gordon Brubaker, manager. He resides with his wife, Sue, at Dewart Lake.

    Max Hull, a resident of East Market Street and operator of a local clothing store, was elected as the new president of the Warsaw Chamber of Commerce.

Other officers elected were H.O. Kring as vice president, and George A. Steele, re-elected as treasurer.

October 6 1924

    Telegraphers throughout the country, including several in Warsaw, were given a rare treat when those in charge of the Chicago American radio broadcasting station KYW so arranged the transmitter at Chicago that it was near to the Morse telegraph instrument, connected direct by wire with the ball rounds at New York. The telegraphers listening in at radio receiving situations, including the Warsaw Daily Times, in this way received the reports of the games several seconds ahead of the broadcasting of the results by mouth.
