    While the old freshman high building is nothing more than a memory, a sentimental portion of the building has been preserved.

Zimmer Inc., which now owns the Main Street property where the school once stood, announced recently that the nameplate and cornerstone from the school will be donated to the Kosciusko County Historical Society.

    Max Meiser, Brian Sponseller and Don Dickerhoff were one-two-three and that was more than enough to lead Tippecanoe Valley to an easy 19-42 cross country win over White's on Monday. The trio led a seven-man TVSC assault on the top ten places.

    Mr. and Mrs. William Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Sloan, of this city, left Tuesday, for Tampa, Fla., to attend the national convention of the Spanish American War veterans. They expect to return in about three weeks.

    The cornerstone of the new Masonic Temple under construction on High Street will be laid Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock by the Grand Lodge of the State of Indiana.

The complete program will be announced on Monday. Late copies of the Warsaw Times will be sealed in the cornerstone box.
