Norma Eisaman, Theta Sigma vice president, received her 10-year pin from Psi Iota XI for being a loyal member. Psi Iota XI is a philanthropic organization dedicated to helping people reach their highest potential. Aside from currently serving as vice president, Mrs. Eisaman has also served as corresponding secretary and as a convention delegate.
Jack Snell, 1225 Country Club Road, Warsaw, has been chosen as one of 18 U.S. consultants on environmental education for a three-week study tour of environmental problems in Africa.
A needlecraft lesson was given at the meeting of the Crossroads Home Economics club held recently at the home of Mrs. Robert Webster, near Pierceton. Mrs. Roswell Robbins presented the lesson and demonstrated Swedish darning and Italian drawnwork. Mrs. Woodrow Tenney gave health and safety hints on using cleaning fluids.
Charles Ross, director of the Atwood band, has received from the Conn factory at Elkhart the very latest artists' model cornet, the instrument being gold-plated. Mr. Ross has been a capable and efficient band director for years and already has brought the Atwood band of 28 pieces to a high standard.
