    Tonya Newsome, 16, Warsaw, recently attended the "His and Her Royal Majesty Pageant" in Niles, Mich.

She won the title of Queen of Photogenic and was overall third runner-up. Her prizes included two trophies, a camera and a crown. She was accompanied and sponsored by Judy and Cornelius Newsome of Warsaw.

    Floyd H. Baker, a member of the Lakeland School Board for 10 years, has been re-elected as the Region II representative to the Indiana State School Boards Association.

A resident of Rt. 1, Pierceton, Baker has been elected three times to the Lakeland School Board and has been the board's secretary for 10 years.

    The Kosciusko County Dental Society, meeting at Nappanee, has elected Dr. O.N. Lentz, of Nappanee, as president for the coming year, it was learned today.

Other officers elected were Dr. Eugene S. Yoder, of Warsaw, vice president, and Dr. Wendell R. Lee, of Warsaw, secretary-treasurer.

    Harold Achor of Atwood has won a place on the debating team at Indiana Central College where he attends school. He was graduated in 1924 from the Atwood High School. He was the winner of the country oratorical contest held during that year.
