    Greg Teghtmeyer, a 1994 Grace College graduate, will perform the role of Will in "Oklahoma" in Pheasant Run Resort, St. Charles, Ill.

Teghtmeyer, of North Webster, is a graduate of Lakeland Christian Academy.

October 20 1979

    Mark Conley, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Conley, of Silver Lake, is one of 90 members of the Future Farmers of America from across the nation selected to participate in the National FFA Band. He was selected from more than 500 applicants representing 42 states and will play the trombone.

October 20 1954

    Two Manchester College students from this area have been given roles in Maxwell Anderson's "Barefoot in Athens," a play to be presented by the Manchester College dramatics club.

Russell Sansbury, Warsaw, a sophomore, will play the part of Phalde. George Harley, South Whitley, a freshman, will appear as Lycon.

75 Years Ago

October 20 1929

    NORTH MANCHESTER - A number of relatives and friends sawed wood Thursday for Louie Lauer at his home west of North Manchester. Lauer has been crippled for two years since a cow kicked him on the leg and broke it. The bone did not heal properly and in September a portion of it was removed and a plate placed in the leg.
