    For the second consecutive year, Biomet executive Dane Miller has been honored by Business Week magazine. A list of the top 1,000 corporate elite among publicly held companies, including Miller, appears in the current edition of the magazine.

    Robert E. Olinger, Warsaw, is one of 14 Northern Indiana Public Service Co. employees observing a quarter of a century of service this month.

A work dispatcher in the Warsaw district, Olinger joined NIPSCO as a record clerk.

    Marlene Bouse, Silver Lake, and Carolyn McKibbin, Leesburg, tied as the healthiest 4-H club girls in the county and Everett E. Rookstool took honors as the healthiest boy in the annual county contest, it was announced by the county Extension office. The club members showing the most improvement during the year were Rookstool and Martha Drudge, of Beaver Dam.

    Donald Stamats, Warsaw boy playing substitute half back for Indiana University, played a whale of a game against the heavy Michigan University team on Saturday and reeled off some good runs despite the fact that Indiana lost 63 to 0. The score does not indicate the stubbornness with which the lighter Hoosier team fought.
