    Movies playing at Lake Cinemas are "Parenthood" and "Friday The 13th" and showing at the Cinema's I and II are "Uncle Buck" and "Dead Poets Society." Prices are $4 for adults and $2 for children.

    T-Sgt. Larry P. Baugher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Baugher, Rt. 1, North Webster, is serving his 14th year in the U.S. Air Force, and is now training as a computer maintenance specialist.

T-Sgt. Baugher has been taking special training in electronics at keesler Air Force Base, Miss. and for the last four blocks of instruction has achieved a grade average of 93.8 per cent.

    Frank Luecke, son of Mabel Luecke, South Union Street, who has entered his freshman year at the University of Missouri, Columbia, Mo., has been accepted as a member of the university choir. He will be a part of the high tenor section in the select choir of 60 voices. It is seldom that a freshman at the university is able to meet the requirements for this group.

    The Claypool Basket factory has changed from steam power to electric motor power. Installing a number of new motors, new saws and other machinery. The Claypool factory is still in need of workmen.
