Warsaw's Bob Kesler helped fight World War II all over again when he and his Marine Corps buddies got together for a reunion recently in Gettysburg, Pa.
The 20 graduate journeymen of R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company's 10th apprentice class in Warsaw are: Joel Light, Lillian Wallace, Eldon Disher, Nancy Gibson, Rick Blue, Lois Tucker, Neal Meloy, Robert Ooley, Mike Bumbaugh, Thomas Stensel, Bruce Bibler, Robert Cleveland, John Deaton, William D. Schue, Dale Walters, Dan Yoder, Billey Shepherd, Dennis Cripe, Steve Sahagun and Gary Love.
A sizable crowd watched as Al Hodges and his crew took a huge safe out of the west window of the Rasor law offices on the second floor of the Chapman building in the business district. The spectators gasped as the big box, held by a crane, swung back against the wall with considerable impact. Eventually it will be swung up to Lake City Bank's second floor, where Everett and his son, Robert, will have their new suite of offices in a few months.

Neher has in his orchard southeast of town a number of trees that are bearing two kinds of apples, and doing it successfully. There are several trees that have Golden Delicious on one side and Red Delicious on the other.
