Warsaw taxpayers received a break when it was announced that Miller's Merry Manor donated land south of Warsaw for one of two proposed elementary schools.
Robert L. Osborn, Claypool, was the prize-winner for his 2-year-old Holstein cow, and received a pewter pitcher award from Marcia Gnagley, 1973 Dairy Princess, at the Eastern National Holstein show held recently in Harrisburg, Pa. Osborn's cow was named the first place cow in the 2-year-old class and also the best udder in its class. More than 360 Holsteins were displayed at the show.
Approximately 2,500 persons attended the H.O. Kring Motors' grand opening festivities Saturday at the new DeSoto-Plymouth showroom and garage, road 15, just north of the Warsaw city limits.
A radio has been installed for the entertainment of guests at the Crow's Nest on Lake Wawasee by Mrs. Martha Fick. Henderson & Parker, of Warsaw, yesterday made the installation.
