    Norma Eisaman and Betty Richcreek will be the official delegates of Theta Sigma Chapter of Psi Iota Xi national sorority at the northeast district meeting Oct. 26 at Lakeland Junior High School, LaGrange. Others attending will be Nancy Howell and Mary Waltz. Delegates will be attending from 24 chapters in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan.

    Principal C.J. Smith announced that a senior at Warsaw Community High School, Jon Mark Long, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Long, has been named semifinalist to the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Four seniors have been named Commended Students in the Merit Program. Letters of commendation were given to Nancy Apeland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Apeland; Steve Beeson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Beeson; Sharon Coplen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Coplen; and Lynne Lambros, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Costas Lambros.

    Mrs. J.N. Rodeheaver, Winona Lake, Semeramis Kutz, Warsaw, and Mrs. R.R. Neff, Claypool, are among the more than 500 women attending the 10th annual jurisdictional meeting of the Methodist WSCS at Indianapolis. The sessions are being held at the Robert Parks Methodist Church.

    Mr. and Mrs. W.I. Pierce have received word from their daughter, Marian, who attends college at the Wisconsin University at Madison, stating that she has been accepted as a member of the Wesleyan Foundation vestal choir. Pierce is a well known and popular Warsaw young lady. She graduated from the local high school this spring with the class of 1926.
