Probably the oldest couple to attend the fair here yesterday, and one that enjoyed it more than any school child, were George Gall and his wife, who live a couple of miles west of South Pleasant, three miles south of Silver Lake. Mr. Gall is 82, his wife 81. They have been wed for 54 years. They walked two miles to the Dixie Highway to catch the bus to Warsaw. They used to attend fairs here when they knew everyone. Now the world has moved off and left them, but they are happy, enthusiastic, pleasant and lively.
