The Tippecanoe Valley High School senior class is planning its annual trip to Washington, D.C. The approximate cost for the trip is $190.
Robert K. Moore, a resident of 1124 Country Club Drive, was the recent recipient of a most unusual plaque commemorating his 30 years of service to The Dalton Foundries Inc. and Big Boy Products Inc. Focal point of the plaque was a make-believe pickle in honor of his nickname with the firm.
Wilmer Latta, 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Latta, 942 Clark St., will leave Sunday morning for South Bend, where he will join a group of boys, newspaper carriers, for a five-day trip to New York City. Wilmer has won four trips and has visited Washington, D.C., New Orleans and Niagara Falls.
Installation of a milk pasteurization plant at Winona Lake will be made immediately, stated dairyman I. C. VanDyke today. The plant will cost $1,000 and includes the latest equipment, bottle washer, boiler, sterilizer, clarifier or filter and self-registering thermometer.
