    One of the highlights of the Halloween carnival at Vinegar Bend, Warsaw, is a visit and show by "Happy the Hobo," the star of Channel 55, WFFT-TV, Fort Wayne.

    Miss Judith Ann Brenneman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orlo C. Brenneman, 109 Twelfth St., Winona Lake, has been selected to receive a Rotary International Graduate Fellowship for one year of study at the University of Queensland, Australia. She was one of five women among the 217 fellowship recipients from throughout the country to receive the fellowship.

    Eleven-year-old Betty Wolf of Syracuse performed with real showmanship on a tight wire all fair week as one of the leading special free attractions.

    Peanuts, as large as any that can be bought in Warsaw, were produced this year by Attorney Asa Leckrone on his property just south of Warsaw.

The yield from a patch of ground 16 by 16 feet was two bushels.
