    At commencement exercises held Oct. 28, Larry Bloom completed a four-year, 576-hour course in a Rural Electric Apprenticeship Program. This graduation also represents 8,000 hours of on-the-job training.

Employed with Kosciusko County REMC for the past seven years, in January he will become a journeyman lineman with the company.

    Kenneth Drudge, 1334 Country Club Drive, Warsaw, has purchased the Honey Beef House, located at the Lakeview Shopping Center, E. Winona Avenue, and is now open to serve the community. Drudge worked for Owens Supermarket for the past 20 years, having started in the old Robinson Market for Owen Emerick.

November 9 1948

    Robert Peterson, 27-year-old World War II veteran, was named by Mayor Charles H. Rice to succeed John Longenecker, as a city patrolman. Longenecker, who joined the force last June, resigned in order to accept managership of the Donut & Coffee Shop, 105 E. Center St.

November 9 1923

    Munson Brothers have sold their garage business at Etna Green to Polson, Mahoney and Washam, Bourbon, all of whom are garage men. They are planning to erect a Ford service station where the garage now stands.
