    Warsaw resident Pat Knott, author of the "Historical Indiana Cookbook," and a partner in Land Yacht Caterers, will appear on Fox 28's morning show.

As a member of the Kosciusko County Historical Society, Knott will be promoting the local Gingerbread Extravaganza. She will explain the techniques and products used in making a gingerbread house.

    New faces regularly appear in the various road races held in Warsaw, but the face belonging to Jeff Shoemaker, more often than not, leads all others to the finish line.

Shoemaker, former Mentone High School long distance ace, who has won three Pioneer Days Two-Mile events, added another accomplishment to his list Saturday as he captured the Super Run XV, a 15-kilometer (9.3 mile) event.

    Nanette Pratt will lead a Junior Town Hall discussion to be aired this evening over Radio Station WRSW.

The topic is "Auto Speeders - How They Should Be Punished." Beginning speech students who will participate are Sabra Menzie, Sandra VanCuren, Susan Todd, David Castaldi, Charles Hollar and Judy Gilliam.

    Thames Mauzy, of the Mauzy Sporting Goods Store, awarded three prizes to patrons of the Centennial theatre at the close of the first show. First prize, a Philco radio, was awarded Charlene Arnsberger; second prize, a lady's suede jacket, went to Clifford Sterling; and third prize, a child's tricycle, was awarded Anna Hilliard.
