    Two employees, Alicia Patterson and Gwen Snyder, have celebrated their 25th anniversary with R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co.

Both hired in as feeders in the bindery, Patterson is currently in color proofing in the preliminary department and Sndyer works in the billing department as a cost billing clerk.

    When you're 10-0 at the end of the regular season, you can have fun like they did at Tippecanoe Valley. A good part of the fun came with a cheering contest that had about 1,000 of the fans present exercising their lungs for tonight's sectional playoff game against West Noble. According to which side yelled the loudest, a coach would climb the ladder one by one until the final cheer. The contest was a tie, and head football coach Charlie Smith delivered his cream pie to Valley cheerleader Crystal McConkey.

    New officers were elected at the meeting of the Lamplighter's Home Demonstration Club held at the home of Mrs. Francis Reece, Claypool.

Mrs. Dale Berry was elected president, Mrs. Alvin Murphy, vice president, Mrs.Wayne Stockler, secretary, and Mrs. James Zinn, treasurer.

    ROCHESTER - Four sisters, all residing in precinct 3, met and went together to the polling place, where they cast their votes for Hoover.

The ages of the four Rochester women are 84, 77, 67 and 64. The sisters are Sarah Noftzger, Rachel Thompson, Mrs. Ed Kime and Hattie Minter.
