Andy Crisp, Mike Caudill and Andy Smith received their Eagle rank in a ceremony hosted recently by Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
There were six winners, one from each grade, in the Atwood Elementary School Fun Night poster contest. They are Rich Seitz, grade six; Sondra Groves, grade five; Tracey Egolf, grade four; Jay Marsh, grade three; Carrie Eckerley, grade two; and Michelle Burkholder, grade one.
Awards for best disguises at the Sunday school Halloween party in the Winona Lake Presbyterian Church went to Robert Shipley, Janet Shoemaker, LaMoyne Fawley; Mrs. N. Bruce Howe Sr., Mrs. I.E. Gresso and Sandra Ewert.
NORTH MANCHESTER - The Izaak Walton League has decided to buy five Norway spruce trees for permanent Christmas trees at Central, Martha Winesburg, Thomas Marshall and Chester schools and at Manchester College.
