    Mark Morrison, a patent attorney at DePuy, was appointed to the Warsaw Community Public Library Board.

Morrison was appointed by the Warsaw School Board by a vote of 6-1. He will replace Fred Helfrich, who is currently the library board president.

    Triton High School senior Rod Ulmer has been involved in body building since the age of 15. Just recently he entered competition in Indianapolis, placing first in his division of "Teenage Mr. Central Indiana" and also placing third in the novice competition for beginners.

Rod is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Ulmer of Bourbon.

    Three Warsaw high school football players received all-Central conference honors.

Tackle Earl Frush and halfback Joe Sensibaugh were chosen on the second team and end Lavon Harman on the third team.

    Gus DeFord, of Silver Lake, has been elected Deputy Chief of Staff of the 13th District, Indiana, Veterans of Foreign Wars, U.S.A. Foreign war veterans in this county hold a charter eight years old which was issued to DeFord and which is contemplated to revive in this county.
