    Christa Ragukonis of Warsaw recently repeated as champion of the McCracken Basketball Camp Super Shoot-Out held in Fort Wayne.

Ragukonis, a fifth-grader at Washington Elementary School, was last year's champion as a fourth-grader in the sixth-grade and below division with a record score of 79, which still stands as the division top score. She defended her title this year with a score of 77.

    More than 200 children attended the annual Halloween party sponsored by the Winona Lake Firemen at the fire house.

Winners of the costume contest were first prize, John Evans, as a tin man; second prize, Esther Zellner, as an upside-down man; third prize, Becky Disbro, as Snoopy; fourth prize, John Cutler, as a ghost; and fifth prize, Ian Ott, as a pumpkin.

    Janet Walter, daughter of Thomas R. Walter, 202 N. Maple Ave., and a senior at Stephens College in Columbia, Mo., has been chosen senior sister and house manager of her residence hall. Being a senior sister makes her a representative to the senior class council and house manager makes her a member of the house managers' council. The house managers' council is the governing body of the residence halls.

    Vere Sutherlin, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Sutherlin of 738 W. Center St., has recently been elected an athletic representative of DePauw University. This is one of the important offices on the Student Council which formulates student activity on the campus. Vere, as captain of the Varsity track team, is one of the outstanding men of the senior class.
