    Army Reserve Pfc. Jamie Krueger, son of Larry and Shelley Krueger, of Mentone, has graduated from the construction equipment repairer course at Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, Mo.

The course trained the soldier in maintenance and repair of engineering equipment, such as engines, power trains and electrical, hydraulic, steering and suspension systems.

    Leading award winners at the Warsaw Community High School football banquet were Gary Puckett, most improved; Mike Clay, honorary captain; and Troy Furnivall, most valuable player and winner of the helmet award for receiving the most Tiger Paw decals for touchdowns, tackles, etc.

November 4 1956

    A German Shepherd owned by Beulah Cook, of Warsaw, placed fourth in a novice obedience class at the Anderson Dog Show Sunday.

Two-year-old Mike, whose registered name is Cooky's Chocolate Soldier, got 195-1/2 points out of a possible 200 and earned a third and final leg for a CD degree. There were 24 dogs in his class.

November 4 1931

    Mrs. Ermal Coffin departed for Washington, D.C., where as national inspector and organizer of the Delta Theta Tau sorority, she will install a chapter of the sorority. The chapter will be known as Epsilon Kappa.
