    The Kosciusko Community YMCA sent two of its members to Waterloo, Iowa, to compete in the Hudson Little Pirates Wrestling Classic.

Bradley Boocher defeated three opponents to win the 60-pound weight class among first- and second-graders, while Rhys Canaday took first among third- and fourth-graders at 50 pounds.

    MUNCIE - Franky E. Butler, Warsaw, was one of the top five performers at Ball State University on the American Chemical Society chemistry examination.

Butler is a junior at Ball State majoring in biology and premedical preparation. She is a graduate of Warsaw Community High School and is the daughter of Frank C. Butler.

    The United Telephone Co. has been busy distributing new directories throughout the area it serves.

A couple interesting facts are: There are approximately 10,020 telephone numbers in the directory, which serves the Warsaw, Cromwell, Milford, Leesburg, North Webster, Pierceton, Syracuse and Lake Wawasee, and the directory lists 116 Smiths, 73 Browns and 43 Jones.

    Recognized as one of the best-equipped libraries in this section of the country, Miriam Netter, local librarian, has received many highly complimentary letters from summer residents at the lake resorts, who have now returned to their homes. The local library numbers many of its summer readers from the various lake resorts of the county.
