Christina Speicher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pat Speicher of Milford, was named to the 1989 edition of "Who's Who Among Students in America Colleges and Universities." Speicher is a junior in education at Tri-State University at Angola.
Mr. and Mrs. Lestel Regenos of 903 E. Sheridan's St., Warsaw, will celebrate the 61st anniversary of their marriage Nov. 24, 1973.
Three championships at the Marshall county 4-H club grain and potato show were won by local boys. Champion oats were exhibited by Robert Lutz; champion soybeans by Norman Nifong; and wheat by Robert Lemler.
Jake Mort is a busy man these days at his farm near Sidney, this county, where he is in the midst of his apple harvest. With a crop of more than 7,000 bushels of choice apples this year he found it necessary to erect a large building for storage of the crop.
