    Roger A. Drudge has been promoted in the U.S. Air Force to the rank of chief master sergeant.

The sergeant is a port operations superintendent at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. Drudge is the son of Ruth W. Drudge, Claypool. He is a 1967 graduate of Warsaw Community High School.

    Robert Richmond, president of Warsaw Toastmasters Club, has been awarded the second prize in the No. 11 District Speech Contest.

The subject for the contest was "Our American Heritage," and the final stage was held at Indianapolis after preliminary competitions at Club, Group and Area levels.

    Linda Lou Lukens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Lukens, Rochester, will appear on the program of the annual ladies' night dinner to be given by members of Silver Lake Lions Club. Linda will present as readings, "The Littlest Angel," "The Cat and the Pain Killer," from Tom Sawyer, and a group of poems by James Whitcomb Riley.
