Home Health Care Board President Richard Wright presented recognition gifts to Ruth Roberts, RN for 15 years of service; Kathy Simpson, social worker for 10 years; Tona Huff, home health aide for 10 years; Leslie Andrews, RN for 10 years; and Lori Grossnickle, pediatric nurse practitioner for 10 years of service with the Well Child Clinic. Home Health Care Services of Kosciusko County is in its 16 year of operation.
Rev. Lester Young and Mrs. Burt Niles were recognized as Man and Woman of the Year during the recent annual meeting of the Kosciusko County Farm Bureau.
Food budgets will hold no worries for Eldon Wright, North Manchester, attorney, during 1953. Today Wright was awarded "free food for a year" for a family of four by Clayton Goodwin, manager of the North Manchester Kroger store. The award was one of five top weekly prizes in the retail food company's coffee selection contest.
T.S. Cogley, a veteran of the Civil War residing on Maple Avenue, today (24th) celebrated his 87 birthday anniversary. Cogley still maintains his soldierly bearing and the spring in his walk does not indicate his almost four-score and ten. The Times extends congratulations.
