Friends and neighbors of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Tinkey, of near Burket, came to their farm home Wednesday and husked 50 acres of corn for them. With 28 tractors and 12 mechanical corn pickers 3,000 bushels of grain were harvested from 7:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. A potluck dinner was prepared and served to the group by the ladies present. Mrs. Tinkey is confined to her home due to injuries sustained several months ago in an automobile accident and for this reason Mr. Tinkey has not been able to get his work done in the field.
