    Celia Stinebaugh Weiss will be the featured piano soloist with the Elkhart County Symphony Orchestra Sunday in the Beickman Performing Arts Center at Concord High School. She will play Aram Khachaturian's "Piano Concerto in Db Major."

She is the daughter of Prof. and Mrs. Vernon Stinebaugh, North Manchester.

    Kappa Delta Pi, honor society in education at Anderson College, has initiated Patricia Lyn Hoffman, Claypool, among 37 members new to the Mu Tau chapter on the Church of God liberal arts campus. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hoffman, Claypool, she is a junior majoring in physical education.

    Nobody we talked to wanted to take his job away from the workman who was painting sash on the upper floors of the Eagles' building above Burr's this week. He spurned the use of scaffolding and often dispensed with safety ropes or belts. He just stood on the narrow stone ledges, hung onto the building with one hand and threw paint with the other.

    A deal has been consummated whereby E. Braude disposed his creamery and packing house buildings in Silver Lake to Fred McKown and according to the agreement Mr. McKown is to take full possession on Jan. 1, 1924.

Mr. McKown intends converting the place into a cold and dry storage for onions and he figures that he will have sufficient room for several hundred car loads.
