    Chuck Brower and Barbara Clouse of North Webster recently visited the Yukon, where they hung a sign at the Watson Lake "sign forest" along the Alaska Highway. Servicemen began hanging signs of their hometowns at the location when the Alaskan Pipeline was under construction, and tourists have continued the tradition.

In 1991, it was estimated nearly 13,000 different signs were posted.

    The Warsaw Girls' Club had 67 members participate in activities at the club Monday night. The highlight of the evening was kickball action, as the All-Stars booted the Tigers 16-8. Home runs were struck by Becky Lindsy and Brenda Slater.

Bingo winner in Four Corners was Missy Conley, Barbie Dye took first place in Anyway, X winner was Kelly Bolinger and Kim Hartman captured Blackout.

November 22 1952

    Homer Shoop, North Webster, with his partner Art Koutras, won runner-up honors in the annual men's duplicate bridge championship played at the Purdue Center in Fort Wayne last week. A Huntington team, composed of Dr. W. Clunie and William Spencer, won top honors, and another Huntington team, composed of Jolly Barr and C.B. Kauff, finished third.
