    Mr. and Mrs. Glenn O. Wagner, 1508 Ranch Road, Warsaw, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Friday with an open house hosted by their children at the Shrine Building, fairgrounds, Warsaw.

Wagner and the former Alldene Spitler were married Nov. 5, 1938.

    Thomas Brothers Gun Shop, located at the east edge of Etna Green, on U.S. 30, is a new addition to the community. Terry and Rodney Thomas carry a full line of new and used guns of all makes, and archery equipment for the hunter. The new building, 32--by-24 feet, was erected about two months ago and is now fully stocked in time for the fall hunting season.

    Three Warsaw High School girls will receive cash awards at the school next week for their prize winning essays on "What Fire Prevention Week Means To Me." The contest is an annual affair open to members of the Warsaw junior and senior high schools.

First prize will go to Joyce Taylor, senior. Mary Jane Grandstaff, also a senior, was second, and Joyce Landis, junior, third.

November 2 1923

    A moonshine still and eight quarts of liquor were uncovered unexpectedly this morning by two Warsaw rabbit hunters, Walter Becraft, Pennsylvania section employee, and John Barnhouse, shoe cobbler, both of this city.

The men were chasing the elusive rabbits on a farm between Warsaw and Wooster, five miles east of Warsaw, when they stumbled suddenly into the hidden den of the moonshiners. A hasty exterior examination uncovered the liquor and still equipment.
