After skating 128 hours and 20 minutes in a non-stop roller skating marathon and endurance contest here, Nick Arch, of Nappanee, quit yesterday from exhaustion. He had been skating day and night, resting 15 minutes out of each hour. Chuck McCullough, of Warsaw, started at the same time with Arch. However McCullough skated continuously without any rest periods. He went 80 hours. A strained and chaffed ankle caused him considerable trouble. Previously McCullough had skated 227 miles here in 36 hours.
