    UPLAND - Stephanie Ringgenberg of Warsaw is serving as associate editor of the Taylor University weekly student newspaper.

Ringgenberg, who graduated from Warsaw Community High School, is a senior communication studies major. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Ringgenberg, Warsaw.

    Navy Engineman Fireman Steven C. Bullers, son of Robert W. and Esta M. Bullers, Warsaw, is participating in a reinforcement exercise at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

He is a crew member aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Nassau, homeported in Norfolk, Va.

November 18 1954

    Mr. and Mrs. Hal Kratzsch, of East Clark Street, left for Hollywood, Calif., where Hal accepted a position to make records with a studio band under the direction of Stan Kenton for Columbia records. Hal's first recognition as a popular tune vocalist was made with the nationally known, "Four Freshmen," who starred in personal appearances the nation over, and twice gave performances in Our Town.

    Warsaw was represented at Indianapolis on Sunday at the state meeting of American Legion officers by Hurless Nine, C.W. Wagner, Gilbert Bates, W. McDaniel and C.L. Leonhard.
