    HUNTINGTON - In a town most noted for its vice-president, the Warsaw Lady Tigers were crowned queens of the volleyball court Saturday night.

Refusing to be denied the first-ever regional championship in WCHS history, coach Penny Salm's squad stunned No. 5 Bellmont 15-5, 8-15, 17-15 to advance to the Sweet 16 of the state tournament.

    Gaydale Convincer Miss, owned by Gaydale Holsteins, Claypool, won the Senior Heifer Calf Class at the Central National Show. "Miss" dam produced 28,297 pounds of milk at the age of five. The Central National Show was held recently at Madison, Wis., in conjunction with the World Dairy Expo.

    Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Boyer, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Franks and Mr. and Mrs.Carl Boggs of this community will attend a concert given Monday at Indianapolis by the Jordan Conservatory orchestra. The Boyers' daughter, Carol, is a member of the orchestra. Guest soloist will be Marjorie Lawrence, well-known artist.

    The Times is under obligations to Tom Kline, whose place is located near the Hall farm north of Warsaw, for a sample of five very large potatoes. They are really two-pound tubers - one of them weighing a pound and 14 ounces, the remainder being nearly as large.
