    Third-grader Dan Hubler received $100 for his efforts as the top seller in the recent Eisenhower Elementary fund-raiser. Third-grader Julio Reyes earned $50 with the second best sales total. Part of the profits from the fund-raiser will be used to begin an outdoor science lab at the school.

    Norm Vanlaningham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Vanlaningham, Milford, is a member of the 1978 Wabash College soccer team. A sophomore at Wabash, Vanlaningham is seeking his first varsity letter in the sport.

    Twenty-five friends and neighbors gathered at the John Wiltrout home Saturday morning and picked corn for him. He was injured recently while picking corn.

Those helping were Floyd Rule, Herman Swinehart, Darrell, Dale and Tommy Phillips, William Carr, John Pfahler, Elza Heckman, Clyde Nettrouer, John Shively, Donald, Roger, Arch and Russell Ring, Charles Jones, Jay Shively, Victor Hillery, Cliff Silveus, Herschel Hibschman, Gayle Nash, Veryl Taylor, Dane Manning, Lawrence Rife, Sam Boggs and Russell Milner.

    More than 250 masqueraders paraded last night at Mentone in the feature event of the Halloween celebration there.

Many Warsawans took part in the festivities and many were masked. Among Warsawans who won prizes for best costumes were Loren Downing, Ross Baker, Wilbur Neer and Frank Harmon.
