    The firm of McHatton-Sadler Funeral Home has announced the association of John Sadler as a fully licensed funeral director. Sadler joined the firm in September of 1985 as a funeral director intern.

    Westminster Press, Inc., Winona Lake, has been reincorporated under the name of Westminster Printing, Inc. according to Max Mollenhour, manager of the new corporation. Westminster Press was acquired recently by Lincoln Printing Co. of Fort Wayne.

    Lew and Bill Goshert, sons of R.O. "Andy" Goshert, have sold the Winona Service Station, which they took over when they left the navy, to Roy Russell, an employee, but will continue to work there until the new owner gets things organized.

Nov. 14 1921

    John Beyer, night man at Conrad's, has a two-fold duty, one of which he has taken upon himself. For years many times during the night he has gone outside and scanned the sky for fires. Hit watch has been quite successful and several fires have been discovered by him. It was Mr. Beyer who first discovered the fire which destroyed the Center Lake ice houses several months ago.
