MIDDLEBURY - Although the rain relented, the Warsaw Lady Tigers never yielded in their quest for a piece of the Northern Lakes Conference championship pie at Northridge High School.
Triton Junior-Senior High School has announced their Valedictorian and Salutatorian awards for the 1977 graduating class.
Possibly the oldest resident of our town to vote in the primary election was 89-year-old Julia Reed, of 1020 E. Center St. She did not wait for her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Reed, with whom she resides, to accompany her but walked to the polls alone. Reed never misses voting.
"Bill," a tiny pet lamb which follows Dr. J.M. Jennings about town today, attracted much attention. "I'm teaching him to smoke cigarettes and play golf," said the veterinary when he proudly displayed him at The Times.
