    Tawny Dile, the 4-year-old daughter of Tony and Cindy Dile of Warsaw, recently won the Miss Junior America City Queen contest. Her title made her eligible for the state competition in Indianapolis June 2. The winner there will advance to national competition in New York City. She previously won the New Star Discovery Pageant in October 1994.

    BOURBON - The 1981 Triton High School valedictorian and salutatorian were named at awards presentation at the high school.

Kerry Knepp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Knepp, Bourbon, is the valedictorian. Mark Gebert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Gebert, Etna Green, is the salutatorian.

    The Rev. Ralph McFadden has accepted the position of scoutmaster of Troop 45 of Akron, it was announced following the troop's regular meeting. Tom Haupert, Harrison Martin and Paul Mahar are the assistance scoutmasters.

    Warsaw Rotarians were entertained by two vocal solos by Mrs. Leolin Moon, "A Little Bit of Heaven" and "Mother Macree."

Arthur Cheisler, a captain in the Austrian army during the World War but now an American citizen and an officer in Rotary Internationale, spoke before the Warsaw club. His subject was "International Service."
